Skirts.

These were all taken by my Great-Uncle Jeep in the 1950's when he was in the navy. I take no credit for any of them, they're just in my possession now.
Jeep was stationed a lot of places, but the only ones I know about are Vietnam, Italy, Japan, Spain and Portugal. These pictures could be from any of those places. I guess I'll never know.


This is the first picture that I've noticed more than one skirt in. The white on the women in the background makes me think that maybe they're waitresses of a sort. But I really like the way the center woman's body is curved, her ankle twisted, hand reaching back. I like the look on the man's face, and the contrast between the intricate rug and the checkered floor.
